Rev. Samuel Parris is the Puritan Minister of Salem. He is the father of Betty Parris and the uncle of Abigail Williams.

Early LifeEdit

Samuel Parris was born in London in the year 1653 to a family of modest financial success and religious nonconformity. He emigrated to Boston in the early 1600's  where he would attend Harvard University. He would later go on to father a daughter named Betty.  In July of 1689 he became the minister of Salem.
